Swimmer on a Mission: Day 18

No swimming yesterday. I’m feeling stronger already, and I can already tell that my body is adapting. I can flex my (upper arm) muscles today and they feel nice. ;o… I modified the set from Wednesday a little bit just to hit a nice and even 3000. Here, have some workout:

200 free/back
200 drill IM
200 kick IM
4 × 100 IM @ 1:50
3 × 100 IM @ 1:45
2 × 100 IM @ 1:40
100 easy
4 × (4 × 25 IMO/free) by 25— @ 0:30 (e.g., 1 fly, 1 free, 1 fly, 1 free, 1 back, etc.)
100 easy
200 hard pull free (went a 2:34!!!)
4 × 100 breakout off the wall to middle, free to wall @ 2:00 (breakout fly for the first, back for the second, breast for the third, free fourth)
300 easy.

Total: 3000.

Yesterday I held 1:35s doing the 100s IM. Today I held 1:30s. And I went a couple seconds faster in the pull.

Also, there was a cute chick (her name was Emma) on the guard stand who kept eyeing me—I probably should have gotten her number. But shy mode was engaged….
